Your Impact The energy industry continues to evolve, with ongoing investment across power generation, transmission, distribution, and industrial energy infrastructure. Jacobs is expanding its Energy & Power Solutions team to support a broad portfolio of projects serving utility, industrial, and infrastructure clients across North America and internationally.
As part of this growth, we are expanding our production staff to deliver high‑quality engineering design and construction documentation. The Senior Electrical Design Professional will apply technical expertise to develop electrical design models and construction drawings for complex energy projects, coordinate BIM models in Revit and CAD environments, and oversee multidisciplinary design teams to produce accurate, constructible three‑dimensional models and drawing packages. The role requires collaboration with electrical engineers, designers, and project teams to support a diverse group of multi‑sector clients and deliver practical solutions on real‑world projects.
Qualifications Advanced proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
Proven experience producing complex BIM models and construction drawings in an engineering or consulting environment
Strong understanding of electrical equipment, systems, and layouts
Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multi‑disciplinary teams
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Proven work ethic and ability to meet project schedules and requirements
Clear communication and collaboration skills
Salary The base salary range for this position is $80,600.00 to $108,825.00; pay is hourly based on hours worked, with individual compensation determined by location, experience, and relevant education or training.
