Accounts Receivable/Collection Support Technician
Growing Las Vegas law firm, Hooks, Meng & Clement (HMC), is looking for an Accounts Receivable/Collection Support Technician who loves digging into detailed work within our legal billing department. This position will work within a team in payment application and reconciliation, as well as collection support for a large Las Vegas law firm, but will also be able to work independently to complete assigned tasks within timelines. Job seekers should have at least two (2) years of billing experience, be meticulous and organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
Compensation
Annual salary of $45,000+

Responsibilities
Process incoming payments to the appropriate accounts daily and in a precise manner
Run accounts receivable reports to keep track of past due accounts and follow up on payments with clients
Work with the client's accounting department to resolve any billing inquiries to ensure payment in a timely manner
Research payment deficiencies and reconcile outstanding invoices
Coordinates correction activities and follows through to resolution and payment
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred
At least two (2) years of accounting, bookkeeping, or insurance-related billing experience required
Experience in a law firm and or Insurance/TPA environment preferred
Efficiency in general office programs, such as MS Office, Excel, and billing software programs, is essential
Able to produce a high-quality work product while handling multiple projects and deadlines, all while in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Attention to detail, in keeping with general accounting standards
Knowledge of legal billing software, Clio, is a plus
Reside in the Las Vegas area, as the position is in the office
