School Bus Drivers - Extended Year

Novato Unified School District is seeking School Bus Drivers - Extended Year. This 30 hours per week position offers: Kaiser, Delta Dental/Vision Services Plan, California Public Retirement System (CalPERS), paid sick leave, and paid holidays. Novato is a suburb located in north Marin County, with a population of approximately 53,000. We are a close-knit community, with a number of our population being lifelong citizens. Many of our NUSD parents attended Novato schools themselves. Our community is known for its more than 3,600 acres of open space, which include a number of popular hiking and biking trails. Novato Unified's mission is to engage, inspire and empower all students, in a rapidly changing world, to realize their life goals. Our vision is to provide an innovative and personalized learning experience for every student in a caring and supportive environment to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful and productive citizens. We engage parents, teachers and our community to actively support our students' growth and learning. We currently are home to 15 schools, with enrollment of approximately 7,400 students. Our 800 employees including certificated, classified and administrative staff are at the heart of our district.

Requirements for Applying. Please include these attachments with your application: Valid California Class B driver's license. Valid California School Bus Certificate. Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency. Driving printout from the DMV Resume Three Current Letters of Recommendation At least three professional references, that we may contact, who have first-hand knowledge of you and your work. At least one must be a supervisor or former supervisor. Do not list people related to you.
