Role Overview:
The Memory Bear Maker Volunteer creates handmade keepsake bears using clothing or fabric provided by hospice families. These bears serve as deeply meaningful mementos honoring a loved one and supporting families in their grief journey.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Sew memory bears from donated clothing or fabric
- Communicate occasionally with hospice staff regarding supply needs
- Work independently from home at your own pace
- Return completed bears to the hospice office as arranged
