As a Visual Merchandising Manager, you’ll serve as the creative representative for visual presentation both within the store and across the board of business, partnering with the store teams and Regional VM Manager.
Responsibilities Lead and develop a high performing visual merchandising team to deliver the store’s visual proposition and impactful displays that exceed customer expectations and maximize sales.
Act as the creative ambassador for in-store visual merchandising, coaching and consulting with colleagues to deliver an inspiring visual proposition aligned to Primark’s Visual Merchandising standards.
Understand customer needs, shopping habits and fashion preferences to reflect the latest trends through product presentations, window and mannequin styling.
Manage and oversee the launch of new visual merchandising campaigns, providing direction and inspiration to the team.
Serve as the in-store champion for visual merchandising, sharing and coaching best practices to influence the customer journey.
Hire, train, coach and motivate a team of Visual Merchandisers; ensure adherence to operating standards, manage stock-related costs, and follow Primark guidelines on POS and pricing for displays.
Qualifications What You’ll Bring: to be successful, at least 4 years of prior experience in a Visual Merchandising Manager role with experience managing a team in a high-volume retailer. You are nimble and adaptable, capable of adjusting plans in a fast-paced environment.
You will have strong communication skills and the ability to relate to customer needs.
Act as a role model who can lead, motivate, and inspire the team, building confidence and enthusiasm to deliver excellent customer service and high-impact visual displays.
Resilient with a proven ability to lead a team and provide constructive feedback.
Excellent creative skills that deliver an inspiring visual proposition while maximizing sales.
Exceptional people and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and management.
Skilled in providing consultation and advice with the ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
Strategically minded and organized with good problem-solving skills to plan and prioritize work schedules within agreed timescales.
Robust knowledge of fashion trends and commercial awareness.
Strong service focus with experience delivering excellent customer experience while maintaining high retail standards.
Ability to communicate effectively in English with managers, supervisors, and hourly colleagues, providing instruction, coaching and safety guidance; capable of delivering amazing customer service in English to customers and monitoring the performance of English-speaking colleagues where needed.

Compensation The pay range for this role is: $63,440-$74,880. This is a good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum we would pay at the time of posting. Base pay may vary depending on geographic region, knowledge, skills, and experience, and internal equity.
