Position
Mechanical Support Equipment Design Engineer – Experienced Level and Senior Level, Everett, WA
Position Responsibilities
Research and interpret engineering changes and data to develop Support Equipment requirements.
Data includes drawing specs, CATIA/CAD models, Installation Plans (IP, CARMS), Tool Usage Instructions (TUI’s).
Develop Ground Support Equipment System Layout, Assembly drawings and Bill of Material/Parts List creation.
Research engineering data using engineering tools/database such as IVT, CATIA, ENOVIA, REDARS, PSDS.
Develop and manage GSE using PDM/ENOVIA.
Ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate GSE solutions and influence change as needed.
Develop, and review VECTOR Service Bulletins related to Service Bulletin including COSP/Safety Assessment.
Able to effectively communicate external and internal customers as required.
Make use of and apply extensive knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and/or systems.
Works under direction and willing to get clarification.
Determine Service Bulletin error engineering solutions, requested additional information or data for KC-46A support.
Security Clearance
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences).
3+ years of experience with preparing and coordinating technical documentation (engineering drawings, specifications, statements of work, technical manuals, etc.) and/or experience in business analysis, financial analysis, managerial accounting, or estimating.
3+ years of experience in mechanical and structural design using Catia V5.
3+ years of experience accurately and productively reviewing, commenting, resolving and approving technical designs and data packages.
Experience developing requirements for systems engineering processes.
Travel domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience.
Experience with the REDARS system.
Experience with any of the following production systems: DCAC/PDM, CDW, DELMIA, ENOVIA, ERPLN, Velocity.
Experience working with any of the following Customers: Department of Defense, International Customers, NATO; or the United States Air Force.
Experience across all phases of support equipment development lifecycle including design, development, production, acquisition, and sustainment.
5+ years of experience participating in engineering design activities or design projects.

Experienced‑Level Summary Pay Range: $111,350 to $150,650
Senior‑Level Summary Pay Range: $135,150 to $182,850
