Position Summary
Perform all engineering steps required for design engineering of new products for specific customer applications.
Duties and Responsibilities
Design, develop and support implementation of new products within established time schedule.
Assist manufacturing products designed by this engineer.
Interface with third party certification agencies, UL, CSA, and others.
Create 3-D CAD drawings
Keep up with processing engineering change notices.
Assist other engineers with projects.
Resolve technical problems on factory floor.
Provide technical assistance to other departments and customers.
Perform relevant product testing
Minimum education and experience:
Technical Associate or BS degree with 5-15 years' experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical design. Experience in quality and technical support, is a plus
