Hands-On Craftsmanship | Precision Manufacturing | Day Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Laminator / Composite Technician to join our carbon fiber manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, take pride in craftsmanship, and are eager to learn specialized composite fabrication skills.

This position is ideal for candidates with manufacturing, fabrication, autobody, construction, window tinting, or hands-on trade experience who want to build a long-term career in advanced composites.

What You'll Own

  • Perform hand layup of pre-preg carbon fiber over:

    • male mandrels

    • inside female molds
  • Operate automatic debulking and tool extraction equipment

  • Assist with organizing material patterns and layup kits

  • Follow work instructions and quality standards to ensure proper laminate construction

  • Perform basic measurements and calculations as required

  • Support material handling and workstation organization

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

  • Work in physical positions including stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting

  • Handle materials weighing up to 30 lbs
Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Ability to perform basic math at a high school or GED level

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow processes

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment
Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with composite materials (preferred, not required)

  • Background in:

    • fabrication

    • home construction

    • autobody repair

    • woodworking

    • skilled trades

    • automotive or architectural window tinting
  • Forklift operation experience

  • Prior experience working with molds, resins, or technical materials
Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and bend throughout the shift

  • Ability to lift and hold up to 30 lbs

  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm motions
Schedule

  • Day Shift

  • Monday through Friday

  • 8-hour shifts

  • Full-time, on-site position
Compensation

  • $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience
