About the Opportunity
A growing manufacturer of custom industrial equipment and pressure vessels is looking to add a Design Engineer to their team.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role within a small engineering group, where you’ll work on one-off, customer-specific designs rather than repetitive product lines. You’ll collaborate directly with customers and internal teams, helping drive projects from concept through production.
The team is looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to grow , with the opportunity to take on increased responsibility over time.
What You’ll Be Doing
Mechanical Design
Design and modify custom equipment using SolidWorks
Create and update detailed drawings for manufacturing and fabrication
Support engineering changes and continuous improvement initiatives
Customer Interaction
Communicate directly with customers to clarify specifications and design updates
Support engineering discussions and help ensure alignment on project requirements
Assist in managing customer communication and project flow
Review and process engineering change orders (ECOs)
Collaborate with drafting, production, and engineering teams
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and manufacturability of designs
What We’re Looking For
Experience with SolidWorks (required)
Background in fabrication, pressure vessels, or custom equipment (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating with customers
