
Learning and Design Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Learning and Design Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing our WordPress-based eLearning platform to ensure an engaging and effective learning experience for our users. The Finally Home! program is Idaho Housing and Finance Association's initiative, offering comprehensive online education and one-on-one housing counseling to help people build credit, save for a down payment, and successfully navigate the path to homeownership. By blending financial literacy, homebuyer education and one-on-one counseling, Finally Home! transforms lives by removing barriers and helping people of all backgrounds achieve the dream of homeownership. In This Role, You Will:
Manage and maintain the WordPress-based eLearning platform, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
Develop, update, and enhance online courses and learning materials
Ensure accessibility and compliance with relevant educational standards and best practices
Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with IT support as needed
Apply consistent branding and design aligned with the visual identity and brand of Finally Home!
Provide second-line customer support to participants, partners, counselors, and staff
Monitor platform analytics to ensure seamless integration, performance, and optimization of digital assets
Other job duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Web Development, Digital Media, Education, Communication, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in WordPress development, content management, and web maintenance, ideally in an educational, or non-profit environment
Proven experience with WordPress and eLearning platform management preferred
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Effective communication skills and customer service orientation
Experience with multilingual content management tools preferred
Passion for housing education and providing financial empowerment
