Overview Lmw is seeking an Application Developer, on behalf of its client, IBM, a leading multinational IT company. The ideal candidate will be a skilled and motivated professional, specialized in Java technologies, who will have the opportunity to work on innovative solutions using Java and modern web technologies.
Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and related frameworks.
Implement and optimize Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Quartz components.
Collaborate with UI/UX teams to create dynamic, responsive front-end interfaces.
Integrate with legacy systems using EGL and manage Db2 databases.
Configure and maintain applications on WebSphere Liberty.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues efficiently.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Qualifications University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Java Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Quartz.
Experience (or familiarity) with Vaadin is highly desirable.
Strong front-end development skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with Db2 database management and EGL for legacy system integration.
Understanding of WebSphere Liberty application server and its configuration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in both Greek and English (spoken and written).
