The Custodian provides custodial services for designated buildings. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Qualifications: Possess a current, valid MO class F driver's license and meet the Great Circle requirements for driver's insurance. Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language proficiently. Experience: Demonstrated high degree of reliability and ability to work independently Preferred Experience/Skills: Experience working with children and families in a trauma informed environment Major Duties: Follow housekeeping schedule and scope of work as outlined by supervisor. Maintains and cleans all floors, walls, glass surfaces, picking up debris, sweeping, mopping, wiping down, scrubbing and vacuuming surfaces. Cleans, monitors, and maintains restrooms, break rooms, offices, classrooms, corridors, entryways, walking areas and common use areas. Empty trash receptacles replace liners and places trash in dumpsters. Replenish personal care products and sanitary supplies Spot clean mats, flooring, including carpets and uses janitorial equipment such as extractors, scrubbers, buffers, commercial vacuums and shampoo machines. Wipes down chairs/sanitizing chairs, countertops, desks, light switches, light lenses, door handles, door jambs, railings, doors, stalls and fixtures.
