Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst

The candidate reports to the Controlling supervisor and is part of a small and effective team of experienced controllers. The Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting our internal and external business partners.
The key job responsibilities amongst others are:
Financial Planning
Further development of financial planning and analysis exercises/reports.
Prepare budgets / (rolling) forecasts by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data.
Analyze budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Participate in establishing the regional strategy and the operational plan.
Financial Controlling
Complete analysis of financial results; develop recommendations (strategic and tactical).
Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
Analyze companywide project performance and overhead spending (cost accruals, provisions, etc.).
Perform profitability analysis for investment decision.
Participate in external growth / divestment projects.
Calculation and maintenance of internal labor and machine rates.
Financial Reporting
Preparation and maintenance of regular financial reports. Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting for managers.
Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Leverage analytical tools to streamline reporting processes.
Ad-hoc reporting (financials, personnel, projects, HQ reports etc.).
SAP / other financial management systems
Maintain and improve the local SAP R/3 system, support the transition towards SAP S/4HANA.
Communicate business needs to Group IT for programming of new solutions and measures of system improvement.
Roll out of Everllence specific tools like PRIAMOS / MIKA / RADAR to relevant business areas.
Other
Coordinate and participate in monthly management meetings by locations and business units.
Assist managers in domestic locations in utilizing financial information to identify areas of profitability, growth, productivity, and NWC improvements.
Identify areas of process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Establish the Development and KPI Dashboard creation.
Support the Internal Control System ICS.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field of study.
Required Experience:
10+ years Accounting or Project management related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong knowledge on SAP R/3.
Desired Experience:
Knowledge on SAP S/4HANA.
Strong understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles (including IFRS), and regulatory requirements.
Expertise in advanced Excel functions.
Proficiency in using SAP Concur.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to communicate financial insights effectively.

Physical Requirements:

The majority of the time this position requires being in one place for several hours working with a personal computer.
