Description

Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset, and engaging in Producers Dairy Mission Statement to identify, value, prioritize, resource and sustain improvement opportunities.

Owning and promoting a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting proper safety behavior.

Effectively operates blow mold/extrusion machine, maintaining quality standards for all bottles produced using good manufacturing procedures.

Maintains proper weights, quantity ordered, leak checks and bottle wall thickness.

Maintains flow of bottle to filler at all times to prevent downtime or reduced filler efficiency due to lack of bottles.

Possesses good working knowledge of blow mold to assist in maintaining blowmold in good working conditions as well as trouble-shooting problems.

Sampling/testing resin for quality.

Helps Maintenance, when possible, fix problems and reduce downtime.

Writes work orders when repairs cannot be made while equipment is in operation.

Excellent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.
