Purpose: The position is responsible for supporting students and staff in literacy activities while maintaining order in the library. The Media Specialist collaborates and consults with teachers to integrate technology and information literacy skills into subject matter instruction, provides technology and information literacy instruction to high school students, and administers media center operations, programming, and resources to help all students become future‑ready. Terms of Employment: As determined by the Master Agreement, $44,619 - $85,615 starting salary. Nashwauk‑Keewatin Schools offers a comprehensive benefits package. The district offers contributions toward medical and dental insurance including a VEBA account. The district offers paid time off including sick and personal leave. District paid life insurance and district contributions toward long‑term disability insurance are available to full‑time teachers.
