Automated Web Tester Developer - Information Technology (IT116)
Job Type: Full‑time (Labor Hour Subcontract / Contract W‑2 (IRS‑1099) position, potentially converting to a full‑time ProSidian W‑2 role)
Location: Savannah River Site / Aiken, South Carolina
Job Overview : Provide services and support as an Automated Web Tester Developer for the Business System IT Department at the Savannah River Site.
Responsibilities and Duties
Gathering, analyzing, and documenting test requirements.
Implementing and maintaining a Selenium‑based web testing framework.
Developing and maintaining test scripts that produce documented test results.
Communicating and implementing industry best practices, guidelines, and recommendations for web application testing.
Writing and maintaining knowledge base documentation.
Desired Qualifications
At least 3 years’ experience with Selenium or Selenium‑based products.
Experience with Chrome, Java, and a combination of JUnit, Eclipse, and Maven.
Preferred but not required experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
High School Diploma with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
Skills Required
Demonstrated experience and success in implementing Selenium‑based automated web testing at an enterprise level.
Experience gathering requirements for test cases, designing test cases, and scripting test cases.
Experience creating and running Maven builds for Selenium‑based tests.
Experience creating and running JUnit tests in Eclipse for Selenium‑based tests.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail and focus on quality.
Knowledge of industry best practices, guidelines, and recommendations for web application testing.
