Duties and Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using Oracle PL/SQL.
Write efficient queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build and support web‑based applications.
Plan and execute data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, and validation.
Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices.
Document technical designs, processes, and workflows.
Required Experience
Experience with Oracle databases 19c or higher.
Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and relational database concepts.
Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
Proven experience in data migration projects and tools.
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining web applications.
Security‑conscious engineer capable of implementing end‑to‑end security measures.
Experience developing, testing, and debugging software components with formal change management.
Light Unix administration skills including user access management, logging, performance monitoring, and shell scripting.
Experience with Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS), middleware (e.g., Tomcat), and Oracle JSON.
Database performance tuning and query optimization.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
6–8 years of relevant experience, including 3–4 years consulting (preferred). Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration techniques.
Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
Experience with Perl and Python scripting.
