SUMMARY:


Bud & Marys Production Associate I is responsible for packaging, labelling and storing finished cannabis products. This position will also work closely with the laboratory and cultivation teams within Bud & Marys cannabis manufacturing facility.


The Production Associate I, using batch records and other written instructions, will be expected to independently operate various packaging equipment, package finished cannabis products into their individual units, label each unit with all requirements and package units into their respective case sizes. This position will also be expected to segregate finished products before the point of sale and may be required to assist the sales team with fulfilling customer orders.


Other tasks include equipment troubleshooting and maintenance and helping to maintain an inventory of all departmental supplies and consumables. Finished cannabis products include, but are not limited to dried flower, pre-rolls, vape cartridges, concentrates, and edibles. Attention-to-detail and organization are imperative in this role.



Salary

$18 - $20 USD per hour

Required Skills

  • Proficient in English.

  • Valid drivers license.

  • Experience with Microsoft Word and other MS products as well as the ability to learn other software programs as needed.

  • PHYSICAL EFFORT NEEDED: Must be able to lift at least fifty (50) pounds, be on feet all day, work in hot and cold environments.

  • TYPICAL NUMBER OF DIRECT REPORTS: Zero (0).

  • ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Exposed to dust, dirt, mud, varying temperatures, varying humidity levels, varying light intensities, and some solvents.

  • Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, and read and write numbers and letters.


Desired Skills


  • High school diploma required.

  • Two (2) plus years of experience in a professional work setting.

  • Assist with day-to-day operations in a large-scale cannabis manufacturing operation.

  • Assist the operations team with completing packaging process for formulated cannabis products.

  • Assist the operations team with labeling cannabis containers efficiently and accurately.

  • Assist the operations team with filling customer orders, including picking orders from inventory and staging for delivery.

  • Assist the operations team with various customer relations projects.

  • Assist with monitoring daily inventory and performing reconciliation using the compliance software.

  • Document all work conducted in accordance with state and local law.

  • Assist with ensuring testing of all cannabis products in accordance with state law.

  • Promote a positive work environment in line with established policies and procedures.

  • Assist with managing the cleanliness and organization of workspaces.
