The posted compensation range of $16.50 - $23.30 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Administrative Professional, you will be an integral contributor to our facilities success, providing support to the supervisor and ensuring an environment of efficiency and high-quality service within the clinic reception group.
Able to accurately perform the assigned work without error. Expected to understand patient health insurance provider and scheduling protocol for physicians and APNs.
Collects insurance information and updates patient demographics. Verfies insurance as needed.
Able to work through large volume reports, communicate to hospital staff, clinic staff and patients, able to answer the phone or help a patient in the office while maintaining accuracy and complete tasks.
Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments.
Effectively communicates appointments and instructions to patients.
Exhibits ability to think through the scheduling process and appropriately schedule hospital and clinic procedures/ appointments. Understands where to direct patient questions when answering the phone and can successfully hand off to other team members when appropriate. Identifies problems and presents to Supervisor if unable to resolve.
