About this role
As a Project Manager, you will lead the execution of complex, mission-critical construction projects, overseeing everything from early planning and budgeting through commissioning and closeout. You'll play a central role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget-while maintaining the high standards that define Sabey's work.
This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact role supporting the continued growth of Sabey's Umatilla operations. You'll collaborate closely with internal leadership, design partners, contractors, and clients while helping drive innovation and efficiency across large-scale data center builds.
Your Contribution Will Likely Include
- Developing and maintaining detailed project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle
- Leading coordination across design teams, contractors, subcontractors, and trade partners
- Overseeing bid processes, negotiating change orders, and managing payment applications
- Ensuring compliance with building codes, FM Global standards, and project specifications
- Supporting commissioning efforts and integrated systems testing for mission-critical environments
- Developing and enforcing Methods of Procedures (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Facilitating project meetings with internal teams, external partners, and clients
- Promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture across all job sites
- Mentoring and supervising Project Engineers and Project Administrators
Experience You Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 4+ years of construction project management experience
- Experience with mission-critical infrastructure or data center environments preferred
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and project delivery processes
- Knowledge of complex mechanical and electrical systems (e.g., UPS, standby power, HVAC systems)
- Experience with construction management and scheduling software
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and estimating
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Interest in leveraging emerging technologies, including AI tools, to improve workflows

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $128,283 - $192,425.
