Senior Electrical Design Technician (BIM Lead) : 199507

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Technician (BIM Lead) to support complex electrical power distribution projects for advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, and mission-critical facilities. This role will lead BIM/Revit design efforts while coordinating closely with engineers and multi-disciplinary teams.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth potential.
Develop electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication system designs
Create 2D/3D models and construction documents using Revit MEP and AutoCAD
Lead BIM coordination and deliver complex design packages
Support project scheduling, staffing plans, and scope alignment
Mentor junior designers and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams
Ensure designs align with NEC and client standards
High school diploma or equivalent
8+ years of Revit/BIM design experience
Experience supporting electrical power distribution projects
Knowledge of switchgear, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS systems
Project leadership and team coordination experience
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Associate’s degree in related field
Semiconductor or mission-critical facility experience
Familiarity with NEC and electrical design standards
