Student Worker - Re-Store Warehouse Associate - Waco Habitat ReStore
This position is reserved for Federal Work Study (FWS) Students only.
Provide customer service (loading making selections, measuring, etc.), organize and maintain store inventory, ensure that the store is clean & safe, work with staff on merchandise pricing as well as assisting customers with locating materials in the store. This position has an emphasis on helping customers and donors load/unload their purchases and donations. Also will need to assist donation coordinator and answer the phone when needed.
Will need to have good verbal skills, and bi-lingual skills are a plus.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand, squat, bend and climb in and out of truck. This position requires spending extended time on your feet and working in an unconditioned warehouse environment.
This is an off-campus employment, reliable transportation is important.
Provide support and assistance in a respective area of community service
Assist with various projects, activities or tasks related to community service
Provide excellent customer service to constituents
Utilize available resources to perform duties accordingly
Serve to enhance outreach for the greater Waco community
Must be federal work study eligible
Ability to comply with University policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
