Manual Lathe Machinist

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and precision engineering, is seeking a Manual Lathe Machinist to join their dedicated team. As a Manual Lathe Machinist, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to safety, and excellent technical skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Manual Lathe Machinist

**Location:** Grand Prairie, TX

**Pay Range:** $30

**Shift:** Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

**What's the Job?**

+ Set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts

+ Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions accurately

+ Measure, inspect, and verify dimensions of machined components to ensure quality standards

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to safety protocols

+ Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance

**What's Needed?**

+ Prior experience operating manual mills and lathes (minimum 1 year)

+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

+ Knowledge of measuring tools and inspection techniques

+ Safety-conscious mindset with steel-toe shoes required; safety glasses provided by the company
