Role Summary
As a Research Associate in the Equity Research Department at JP Morgan Asset Management you will support a Senior Research Analyst in their efforts to analyze companies and generate positive investment performance. This particular opening is focused on Payments and Business Services which consists of 30 companies under current coverage. A successful Research Associate is self‑motivated, intellectually curious, demonstrates analytical aptitude and attention to detail, and has a strong interest in investing.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct a wide variety of research projects to aid in the investment process, including building financial models and industry frameworks as well as company/industry‑specific ad‑hoc projects.

Provide data and analysis to assist in the management of regional and global analyst funds.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

5+ years of relevant industry experience.

3+ years of experience covering Payments and Business Services.

Strong analytical skills, high aptitude for numbers; ability to identify trends through numerical analysis.

Intellectual curiosity.

Passion for and interest in investing.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

Coding experience with VBA is preferred.
