
Technical Research Analyst

Responsibilities
The role involves investigating varied intelligence sources.
Prepare and present platform demonstrations to potential customers and partners.
Conduct open-source investigations to develop use cases to be showcased.
Produce lengthy, detailed intelligence(web intelligence-threat intelligence) reports – both independently and at the request of sales, customers, etc.
Monitor and report on open-source changes including but not limited to new platforms and restrictions within existing one.
Ability to find and research new open sources from a range of third-party websites, forums, messaging app channels, and more to uncover malicious activities.
Working with data scientists and developers to help them integrate research findings.
Ability to analyze large data sets and provide meaningful insights.
Ability to demonstrate a good technical understanding of how the internet works and where/how to collect user-generated content.
An ideal candidate should be able to draft reports detailing complex findings.
Requirements
Relevant degree level qualification or equivalent work experience (2+ years).
Previous experience in OSINT research and subsequent content analysis is mandatory.
Basic programming skills with Python/JavaScript/NodeJS are mandatory.
A proactive and independent thinker and doer.
A quick learner of new practice areas and technological tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with HTML, Postman, and Chrome Developer tools – An advantage.
Mandatory - Proven track record working as OSINT Analyst for 5 years in Law enforcement or intelligence organizations.
Mandatory - Proven experience in conducting open-source investigations and other OSINT analysis tools.
Fluent English.
