
SCC Application Design Engineer

We are seeking an SCC Application Design Engineer to design, implement, and optimize SCC applications that support operational efficiency and system reliability. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing technical solutions, and ensuring applications meet performance, compliance, and quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience with control systems, strong problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to deliver technical solutions in a complex environment.
Position Responsibilities
Application Design & Development
Design, develop, and optimize SCC applications to meet operational and technical requirements
Ensure applications are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with system performance standards
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate applications with broader system architectures
Collaboration & Technical Support
Provide technical guidance and support for application deployment, troubleshooting, and upgrades
Work closely with project teams to ensure applications align with operational and business objectives
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain thorough documentation of application designs, updates, and system configurations
Ensure compliance with industry standards, internal protocols, and regulatory requirements
Continuous Improvement
Identify areas for process and application improvement
Implement best practices for system design, testing, and deployment
Prerequisites
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Software, Systems Engineering, or related field
Experience with SCC or similar control/automation systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
Technical certifications in control systems, industrial automation, or software engineering
