Shipping Clerk
A growing company in the North Canton area is looking for experienced shipping clerks to work in their busy warehouse. This is a temp to hire position with a ton of opportunity.
Job Description
Works effectively and efficiently in a warehouse environment to receive and schedule shipping and freight operations, including developing a working knowledge of warehouse organization and creating proper and detailed shipping documentation. Works with shipping and warehouse team to ensure customer satisfaction.
1st Shift position available, 6am to 6pm Monday to Friday
2nd Shift position available 10am to 10 pm Monday to Friday
Shipping Clerk Job Duties:
Efficiently works within a busy dispatch department
Effectively uses RF scanners to locate and gather stock
Use tow motor to gather stock
Creates shipping labels and handles shipping information with UPS, FedEx, or WorldShip programs
Keeps organized shipping records, including statements of origin, shipping costs, products shipped, and receipt dates
Keeps track of inventory by cycle counting

Qualifications
Experience cycle counting
Previous Shipping and Receiving Experience
Experience on a sit down tow motor
Experience using FedEx/UPS/WorldShip label making programs
Knowledge of RF Scanners
Additional Information
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
