Part-Time Receptionist
Are you friendly, organized, and great with people? Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral is looking for you! We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Receptionist. Someone who can create a welcoming first impression while keeping our front desk running smoothly. If you enjoy a fast-paced environment and being the go-to person for guests and staff, this role is for you!
Position Summary
The Receptionist facilitates the flow of hospital's communication; provides a customer-friendly environment for customers and staff via telephone and face-to-face communication. Communicates department information and updates to receptionists and staff members providing coverage at the front desk.
Key Responsibilities
Appropriately answers and responds to incoming telephone calls in a courteous and customer-friendly manner
Provides requested information or direction to callers
Manages and routes incoming mail and carrier deliverables
Greets and responds to visitors in a customer-friendly manner
Manages visitors sign-in and gives visitors badges
Directs and assists visitors and patients to the correct location or staff members as appropriate
Manages patient items brought in by visitors
Maintains documentation related to Needs Assessment and referral calls
Provides clerical support to hospital as needed and assigned by department head
Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position
Schedule: Evenings, Nights, & every other weekend

Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or GED required
Experience: 1 year experience with multi-line phone system preferred
Licensure/Competency: BLS is required; CPI is preferred
