Performing set-up and start-up activities on all equipment in the department

Opening packages, placing product in tubs or racking product, and transporting to appropriate area

Documenting equipment inspections and reporting unsafe conditions or damage to product, equipment or facility

Documenting lot numbers and code dates

Labeling and ensuring accurate inventory of products

Reading and comprehending production paperwork and documents

Auditing materials for Quality Assurance

Assisting operators with daily production tasks

Accurately completing all paperwork required by the position

Other duties as assigned

Must be at least 18 years old

Must demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

Must demonstrate safe working habits

Must be able to push or pull pallets in excess of 1500 lbs.

Must be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs. frequently

Must be able to learn and perform all positions

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Must have good human relations skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team player)

Must be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours

Hours of work: 07:00pm - 03:30am; rotating days

Work environment: Temperatures range from 35 to 40 degrees. Wet and slippery.

Frequency of pay: Weekly

Minimum base pay: $16.80

Maximum base pay: $23.20

Potential annual base pay: $34,944 - $48,256

Year end bonus: To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week's pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks' pay.

Weekend differential: A $2.00 per hour weekend differential is paid to associates for hours worked between 12:00 a.m. Saturday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday. Night differential: A $.75 per hour night differential is paid to associates regularly scheduled to work any hours between midnight and 3:00 a.m. (this does not include shifts that end at midnight or begin at 3:00 a.m.)
