About the Role
We're looking for a welcoming and vibrant Host (Seasonal) to be the face of our restaurant, Talavera! As a Host, you'll help create inclusive, unforgettable dining experiences where everyone feels at home. Bring your energy, personality, and passion for people! Talavera is a contemporary Spanish steakhouse featuring Latin-inspired flavors, from paella and dry-aged steaks to jamn ibrico, fresh seafood, and vibrant tapas, complemented by over 350 world-class wines and handcrafted cocktails.
What You Will Do
Welcome guests and provide exceptional service during their dining experience in collaboration with a team of servers
Manage the host stand, review the reservation book and make recommendations as to the setup of the table sections
Ensure cleanliness of each section of the dining rooms and make necessary improvements as well as check each table prior to opening to ensure its proper set
Print menus and collateral
Communicate to guests and team members using systems
Answering guests requests via multiple communication channels in regards to dining in the outlets
Coordinate events with marketing team
Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients and restaurant information
What You Bring
One to two years' previous experience in Food & Beverage outlet; previous employment experience within a luxury Hotels is considered an asset
Ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
Strong communication skills

Restaurant Closed on Monday's and Tuesday's
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
