Overview
Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Temporary Design Coordinator to join the Runway Design team based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters.
Responsibilities
Assist in set up and maintenance of fabric and design boards
Swatch fabric, lining, and trim options in midtown
Pick up/deliver samples to factories
Organize fit room
Assist in preparation of cut tickets
Simple hand-sewing projects
Qualifications
Fashion design background preferred
Experience in sample room and design ateliers preferred
Salary & Benefits / What We Offer
The compensation for this position ranges from $20 per hour. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. In addition, we offer our employees a comprehensive benefits package including medical insurance.
