Inventory Control Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking stock levels, organizing inventory, and ensuring timely updates to inventory systems. This role plays a key part in supporting efficient operations and minimizing discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials
Perform routine cycle counts and physical inventory audits
Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records
Organize and label inventory for easy access and identification
Monitor stock levels and report shortages or overstock situations
Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to ensure timely replenishment
Update inventory management systems with receipts, transfers, and adjustments
Follow company procedures for handling and storing inventory safely
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic math and data entry proficiency
Familiarity with inventory software or ERP systems is a plus
Ability to lift and move items as needed (up to 50 lbs.)
Good communication and teamwork skills

Experience with barcode scanners and inventory tracking tools
Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
