Veterinary Technician or Assistant

Angel Oak Animal Hospital, located on beautiful Johns Island, SC has an immediate opening for a highly motivated, skilled veterinary technician for our 2.5 doctor small animal practice. Qualified candidates should have strong communication skills, multi-tasking capabilities, be able to work within a fast-paced environment, have a team player mentality, possess a mature work ethic, and have strong technical skills. Skill sets required, but not limited to, IV catheter placement, phlebotomy, anesthetic induction and monitoring, dental radiographs, working knowledge of veterinary medicine and terminology, and radiographic positioning.Position is Monday-Friday with no weekends and no boarding or on-call. Must have reliable transportation and be over 18 years old. Need to be able to lift more than 50lbs. High school diploma or equivalent required.
