What You'll DoPatient ExperienceWarmly greet patients and guide them through check-in and check-outVerify and update demographics, insurance information, and benefits (Ascend)Maintain a clean, welcoming front desk, waiting area, and restroomsScheduling & Patient FlowManage, confirm, and reschedule appointments to keep the schedule full and efficientMonitor patient arrivals and coordinate flow between the front office and clinical teamFollow up on missed appointments and cancellations in alignment with the doctorTreatment Coordination & CollectionsReview treatment plans with patients, explain financial implications, and obtain signaturesCollect balances for current and past-due accountsPre-authorize necessary treatment and schedule follow-up careAdministrative & CommunicationMonitor and respond to emails and voicemails same-dayExecute patient communication campaigns using in-house marketing toolsProvide patient education materials (ADA brochures) as neededEscalate complex issues to the Business ManagerOwn Your Downtime When the lobby is quiet, we expect you to fill that time with purpose recare outreach, schedule gap review, balance follow-up, confirmations. That's the culture here, and we're proud of it.What We're Looking For2+ years of experience in a dental office (required)Experience supporting specialty providers endodontists or periodontists is a plus, but not requiredProficiency in dental practice management software Ascend experience a plusA true self-starter: someone who identifies what needs to be done and does it without being askedStrong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced settingExcellent phone etiquette, written communication, and interpersonal skillsA warm, professional demeanor with genuine empathy for patientsComfortable with technology and basic computer systemsOur team supports multiple practice locations. Your schedule will typically be set in advance, and we'll always give you a heads-up when you're needed at a different site. On rare occasions, we may ask you to step in at another location on short notice to cover an unexpected absence flexibility and team spirit go a long way here.
