Tooling Coordinator
Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes with over 100 years of experience and approximately 30 billion envelopes manufactured annually. We are seeking a Tooling Coordinator with the ability to work on 2nd shift for our envelope manufacturing facility in Chicago, IL.
The schedule is Monday-Friday with occasional overtime / based on business needs with approval.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant work experience in tool inspection, make-ready, purchasing, customer service, and inventory in a print/production environment. The incumbent will have solid attention to detail and interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to perform in a high volume work environment with speed and accuracy.

Job Summary
Prepare, inspect, organize, and stage the necessary change parts and materials for all the changeovers in the plant, before the machines are shutdown to perform a changeover. Maintains accurate inventory of parts and supplies ensuring that parts are readily available to be shipped to facilities as requested. May assist in leading production employees to ensure a constant flow of production.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

- Coordinate the staging of job jacket, raw materials, and print plates.
- Accurate change time tracking and documentation
- Making Gummers; Mixing Inks
- Maintain inventory and order change parts; Return of Used Parts & Material
- Development/Utilization of Make Ready SOP's
- Maintain Tooling Condition (Sharp, Usable); Coordinate the reconditioning of Tooling
- Read and understand written and verbal instructions, specifications and information
- Problem-solving and decision making; consistent communication with manager/teams
- Collaborate with pertinent contacts / departments to achieve goals
- Inspect and monitor quality of products received from other departments or moving to another department, including packaging of materials for shipment to ensure quality standards are met
- Actively support continuous improvement in processes and procedures
- Promote and maintain a clean, safe and organized work area by adhering to Safety Policies
- Responsible for collecting and accurately reporting necessary data
- Performs physical inventories on a regular basis, to verify inventory records and correct discrepancies
- Maintains hazardous chemical documentation and facilitates disposal of hazardous material
- Provide coverage for other positions as needed.
