Hueston Woods Lodge & Conference Center is seeking a friendly and professional Host to welcome and assist guests in our dining areas. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all patrons.
Responsibilities
Greet guests promptly and courteously as they arrive.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
Assist guests with special requests and accommodate seating preferences.
Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and dining area.
Provide accurate wait time information and manage guest flow during busy periods.
Requirements
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Previous experience as a host or in customer service preferred.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
