Host/Hostess

A busy restaurant group located in Beverly Hills, CA is seeking a warm and welcoming Host/Hostess to greet and seat guests. Experience in the restaurant industry is a MUST for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):

• Greet guests as they arrive and ensure they feel welcomed.
• Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure seamless service.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information about the restaurant and menu.
• Assist with guest inquiries and accommodate special requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area. In addition to, regularly checking restrooms and replenishing paper goods as needed.
• Ensure a smooth and efficient seating process, balancing guest preferences with operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a host/hostess in a high-volume restaurant.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Restaurant industry experience is required.
