How You'll Contribute
Direct all production activities for assigned shift to meet production, quality, safety, and delivery targets
Lead timely continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor
Report plant labor operating efficiencies and machine utilization to management
Conduct performance evaluations for Production Supervisors
Maintain a safe work environment and drive 5S housekeeping standards
Assist in root cause analysis and eliminate downtime using 8D corrective actions
Coordinate staffing and scheduling of line personnel with the Operations Manager
Proactively resolve problems and conflicts to minimize disruption
Model a positive management approach and actively participate in meetings
Supervise Team Leaders and production Team Members to ensure accurate, on-time output
Establish and enforce safe work practices and direct plant emergencies as needed
Oversee training and development of Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Technicians in technical and people leadership skills
Ensure strict compliance with Quality Control standards and protect company reputation as a quality producer
Communicate and counsel employees to maintain high understanding, trust, and integrity
Analyze production performance to identify and implement profitability improvements
Create visual aids for effective communication on the production floor
What Makes You a Great Fit
Must have experience in automotive component manufacturing
Bachelor’s degree
Manufacturing background with several years of supervisory experience
Demonstrated ability to lead shift production operations and meet KPIs
Proven experience with continuous improvement and problem-solving (e.g., 8D)
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Experience maintaining safety programs and 5S standards
Ability to evaluate labor efficiency and machine utilization and report metrics to leadership
Track record of training and developing Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Technicians
Strong communication skills with ability to build trust and resolve conflicts
Capability to coordinate staffing and scheduling in partnership with Operations
Ability to create visual communication aids for the production environment
Commitment to quality control compliance and on-time delivery expectations
