
Finance Manager - Foodservice Business Development

Reporting to the Director, Foodservice Finance; Business Development, you will lead trade performance management and planning while partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Category Finance to drive growth, strengthen margins through customer investment return on investment analyses, and modernize how Finance operates through automation, analytics, and artificial intelligence‑enabled tools.
A Taste Of Your Responsibilities
Own end‑to‑end planning, forecasting, and management of trade expenditures, including promotion‑level investment strategy and execution
Lead period‑end close activities for trade spend and customer investments, ensuring timely journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and full SOX compliance
Deliver actionable trade spend analysis each month while partnering with Sales and Category Marketing to drive smarter, data‑backed investment strategies
Create sales plans that outline growth corridors and segment strategies to maximize margins on existing business and drive profitable new volume
Lead quarterly customer cost‑to‑serve insights, translating complex data into clear, action‑oriented recommendations for leadership
Lead SG&A expense reporting and continuous process improvement initiatives, including product samples and travel and entertainment, to enhance visibility, control, and efficiency
Develop and manage Broker incentive programs to ensure sales execution that delivers strategic initiatives and annual operating plans
Lead the successful upgrade to SAP S/4HANA, including integration of Sales and Marketing systems to improve reporting capabilities while maintaining continuity of existing processes
Partner with Procurement to negotiate, update, and execute annual brokerage and vendor contracts, aligning financial rigor with Foodservice strategies
Govern SAP Master Data to ensure accurate sales hierarchies and reliable reporting to support business decision making
Serve as a key finance partner for internal and external audits and tax requests, ensuring compliance and timely resolution
Lead financial execution of business transformations, including reorganizations, customer transitions, and mergers and acquisitions
Drive special projects and strategic initiatives that improve financial performance and support evolving business needs
Ingredients Required For Your Success
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related degree required
Minimum seven years of professional general business and financial experience; Foodservice industry experience preferred
Profit and Loss background and knowledge of financial systems and accounting concepts
Demonstrated success navigating ambiguity, change, and a dynamic business environment
Experience forecasting for a defined area and understanding its key drivers
Proficiency generating meaningful, action‑oriented financial solutions through analytics and insights
Strong verbal and written communication skills with strong financial business acumen
Experience leading multistage projects from conception to completion
Proven success developing strong partnerships with internal customers, peers, and direct report(s)
Strong computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and SAP; sales and trade systems experience preferred
Proficiency managing systems and tools and recommending efficiencies
Foundational knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

Compensation
Pay Range: $107,000‑$156,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
