Arm Dynamics (AD) is growing and has a unique and exciting full-time opportunity for an Occupational Therapist as a Clinical Therapy Specialist – Upper Limb Prosthetics.
AD specializes exclusively in the provision of comprehensive upper limb prosthetic rehabilitation throughout the United States.
*Key Responsibilities:*
The Clinical Therapy Specialist – Upper Limb Prosthetics is responsible for assisting individuals with upper limb loss in identifying their goals and working toward achieving their fullest level of prosthetic independence. This role also involves working side by side with certified prosthetic upper limb specialists utilizing the most advanced hand system technology.
Collaborate with prosthetists, therapists and other medical professionals to maximize evidenced based patient outcomes. Our clinicians actively participate in research, publications, and professional presentations to advance upper limb prosthetic rehabilitation. Training will be provided.
*Qualifications:*
* Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (OTR/L or MOTR/L) 3+ years of experience as an occupational therapist.
* Experience developing individualized and implementing therapy treatment plans
* Knowledge of the field of upper limb prosthetics preferred but not required
* Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
* Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
* Strong organizational skills
* Self-starter with excellent anticipation skills
* Ability to multitask
* Comfortable working in a high pressure environment
* High degree of confidentiality and integrity
* Professional demeanor and appearance
* Punctual and reliable
