PLEASE NOTE: This position is remote, but you MUST reside in DALLAS or HOUSTON and be willing to travel and service accounts throughout the Texas region. This position pays a base plus commission.
Overview Solaris Paper is a North American towel and tissue manufacturer. We are seeking a Business Development Manager responsible for managing and expanding key Texas regional accounts and driving growth across the assigned territory. This role focuses on developing territory-specific business plans, strengthening customer relationships, leading negotiations, and delivering sales.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute regional sales and marketing strategies for Solaris and FIORA retail lines, aligned with overall company retail strategy.
Own sales plans and forecasts for assigned regional accounts; meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profitability targets.
Manage and grow strategic relationships with major regional retailers, distributors, and channel partners involved in private-label and branded programs.
Identify and cultivate key customer contacts, including buyers, category managers, supply chain, finance, and regional leadership teams.
Lead customer meetings and business reviews, presenting category insights, program performance, pricing proposals, and new product or platform opportunities.
Negotiate pricing, promotional programs, and contract terms in alignment with internal finance, marketing, and leadership guidance.
Key Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred
5–7+ years of Retail or Private Label Sales experience managing regional or multi-state accounts (FMCG preferred)
Proven track record as a hunter–builder capable of expanding existing business and securing new opportunities
Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex customer programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Location Home-based remote, but you must reside in Dallas or Houston
