Job Description
P&G Design is looking for a Design Producer to join our Beauty Care team in Cincinnati. The role focuses on enabling design intent realization for printed touchpoints, ensuring technical fit‑for‑use and quality execution. The candidate will manage the end‑to‑end design process from concept through production, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and drive improvements in quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Serve as the graphic/2D design execution expert on multifunctional internal & external initiative teams, ensuring design intent realization and print feasibility.
Partner with pre‑press, printers, and regional Design Delivery resources to assess print feasibility, identify alternate solutions, plan and conduct print trials, confirm final design intent, and resolve quality issues.
Plan and manage design execution work and critical path schedules, elevate issues to key business partners, and drive on‑time/on‑quality delivery of Global Design Templates, Implementation Guidelines, and print feasibility confirmations.
Manage projects within WebCenter, providing low‑level support to the multifunctional team.
Utilize the daily project tracker to capture due dates, priorities, and status, and provide weekly updates to Design and key business partners.
Collaborate to bring innovative ideas, seek and reapply learning, and explore cost savings and avoidance opportunities.
Qualifications
4‑year degree in Design‐related field with minimum of 2 years of Design Production & Print experience or 4 years proven in‑role experience in the CPG industry.
Deep understanding of pre‑press and printing industry standards, print production, and press capabilities, including inks, materials, specialty finishes, and proofing.
In‑depth understanding of the end‑to‑end packaging process, supply chain capabilities, and fit‑for‑use considerations.
Strong grasp of design principles, brand equity, design assets, and visual consistency.
Demonstrated leadership, collaboration skills, and ability to engage all management levels.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Disciplined time and project management, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
Flexibility to adapt in a constant‑change environment and influence across functional partners.
Software fluency in Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office.
