Business Development Manager – Government Contracts
Signature Labor Services is seeking a talented Government Contracting (GovCon) Proposal Writer with strong technical writing skills to join our Business Development team. This position combines expertise in federal contracting processes, proposal strategy, and technical documentation to develop compelling proposals that win government contracts. You will also be required to manage the Account from the staffing perspective.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in government contracting proposal development
1+ years of technical writing experience (proposals, technical documentation, or equivalent)
2+ years of previous Sales experience is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
Responsibilities
This position combines expertise in federal contracting processes, proposal strategy, and technical documentation to develop compelling proposals that win government contracts
Lead the planning, organization, and execution of government proposals from initial opportunity assessment through submission
Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other solicitation documents to develop win strategies
Develop and maintain compliance matrices that map all solicitation requirements to proposal sections and ensure nothing is missed
Create proposal outlines and section-level strategies
