Assistant Project Manager-Planning, Design & Construction-Mount Sinai Health System-Full Time-Days
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) works directly for and with the Planning, Design, Construction and Infrastructure team and is responsible for creating and executing plans for moderately complex projects.
Responsibilities
Help organize and facilitate project-related meetings, including the creation of agendas and preparation of materials.
Prepares and/or edits meeting minutes, presentations and tables.
Maintains detailed records and documentation of project activity and may be responsible for developing uniform procedures system wide. Provides feedback to communicate project findings as appropriate.
Develop reports, PowerPoints, spreadsheets and other deliverables assigned.
Tracks regulatory requirements for key infrastructure and building systems.
Monitors project deliverables and timelines, notifies management when issues arise, and takes corrective actions as needed. Site visits are required.
Coordinate ordering, follow up of receipt and invoicing as necessary.
Responsible for conference travel planning, and departmental correspondence as it relates to the project.
May be responsible for communication with outside contractors and/or vendors and consultants as required by the project.
Coordinates periodic project management meetings with architectural and engineering consultants, contractors, subcontractors and user clients.
Coordinates and schedules work with other departments.
Examines design and construction work, reports findings, follows up with corrective work.
Effectively assists with managing and reporting costs to budget on monthly commitment plans.
Assists VP & SVP with administrative duties of the department.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.

Compensation
Salary range: $65,885 - $98,827 annually.
