About The Role: We’re seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to guide our product team in developing and deploying scalable, AI-enabled systems.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, AI-driven backend and data systems.
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of R&D projects.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.
Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to define project requirements.
Serve as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to develop, implement, and enforce information security policies.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities.
Requirements
6+ years of professional software development experience, with 2+ years in a lead or tech-lead role.
Strong backend expertise: Java, C++, Scala, Python—plus cloud infrastructure and data frameworks.
Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, microservices, and distributed systems.
Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Well-honed software engineering practices: version control, CI/CD, unit testing, code reviews.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience with security best practices.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks.
Experience with containerization, orchestration, Infrastructure as Code.
Base Salary Pay Range: $159k – $229k USD
