Oversee Filevine's social media function, providing strategic direction to the social team to ensure channel presence, tone, and content align with overall brand and communications strategy

Serve as a strategic communications advisor to the executive team, including CEO, CPO, and other senior leaders

Lead crisis communications planning and response, leveraging legal expertise to assess risk and craft messaging under pressure

Drive thought leadership initiatives including executive bylines, speaking engagements, awards, and industry recognitions

Partner with the Growth & Marketing teams on integrated campaigns, product launches, and brand moments that require earned media amplification

Build and scale the PR function, including agency relationships, internal processes, and reporting frameworks

Monitor, analyze, and report on media coverage, sentiment, and share of voice; use data to inform strategy

Represent Filevine at industry conferences, legal association events, and media opportunities

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) strongly preferred; alternative considered only if deep legal experience

6+ years of public relations experience, with significant tenure in legal, legal tech, or enterprise SaaS environments

Demonstrated track record of building and executing communications programs that shape brand narrative and earn top‑tier media coverage

Deep familiarity with the legal industry—law firm culture, legal operations, or legal technology adoption cycles

Strong executive presence with the ability to advise C‑suite leaders and represent the company externally

Experience managing PR / Social agencies and internal communications teams

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex legal and technical concepts for a broad audience

Comfort operating in a fast‑paced, high‑growth tech environment where strategy and execution go hand‑in‑hand
