Regional Business Development Manager – Life Sciences

Job Summary
Primary business development driver for our Life Sciences engineered solutions business nationally. Focus on turning up “net new” business and developing long‑term relationships with general contractors, architects and engineering firms’ indirect accounts.
What You Will Do
Utilize business development process to identify new customers and develop specific action plans to grow new accounts in the Life Sciences space.
Consistently ascertain customer needs and current market opportunities. Assemble and coordinate acquisition team as needed for customers and projects.
Convert leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process, identifying the required sales team members, making assignments, and communicating the next steps in the process. Develop strategic relationships with key decision‑makers in customer organizations.
Travel: 40% – 60%, dependent on business needs.
What You Will Bring
A minimum of 4+ years of business development and indirect solution sales experience in the Life Sciences market space.
Proven experience developing and maintaining high‑level business relationships that produce results.
First‑hand experience and strong working knowledge in one or more of the following vertical markets: Pharmaceutical and Biopharma, as well as higher ed and healthcare spaces as they relate to life sciences.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.
Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:
DUI in the previous 5 years
Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
Compensation
Annual base salary range: $135,026.66 – $195,264.99. Salary only. Incentive eligible: Yes. Sales commission eligible: No.
Other Information
Safety sensitive role: No. This role may require passing additional drug screening if Safety Sensitive designation is required.
