Slip Sheet Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift Location: Redlands, California 92374 Pay Rate: $21/hr Schedule: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, M-F Contract: 12-month contract with potential to convert to permanent based on business needs Job Summary: A-Line Staffing is seeking a skilled Slip Sheet Forklift Operator to safely and efficiently handle products within our distribution center. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating slipsheet forklifts and a variety of material handling equipment (MHE), including order pickers, reach trucks, and counterbalance forklifts. This role involves loading/unloading shipments, replenishing stock, and assisting with other warehouse duties as needed. Responsibilities: Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments using WMS. Report discrepancies between inventory and shipping/receiving documents. Load/off-load pallets safely to prevent damage. Locate and retrieve products; replenish picking locations. Assist in other warehouse roles as backup when needed. Operate forklifts and MHE in a safe and efficient manner. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. 1+ years’ experience operating slipsheet forklifts. Experience with multiple types of MHE: order pickers, reach trucks, and counterbalance forklifts. Ability to obtain forklift certification. Ability to read and interpret distribution documents. Basic analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills. Proficient with PC and RF scanner use. Strong initiative and focus on results. Physical Requirements: Regularly walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing/pulling, lifting over 50 lbs. Normal vision (corrected to 20/40) and hearing sufficient to safely operate MHE. Exposure to varying temperatures, moving mechanical parts, and moderate to loud noise levels. Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and wrists. Additional Information: Phone interview will be conducted first, followed by possible equipment demonstration. Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing/distribution environment with exposure to heat, cold, and vibration.
