Senior Electrical Substation Design Engineer / Manager

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Substation Design Engineer / Manager to lead the design and delivery of substation projects. This role will oversee engineering teams, manage project execution, and ensure all designs meet industry standards, client requirements, and project timelines.
Responsabilities Lead and manage engineering teams in the design and development of electrical substations
Oversee project planning, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations
Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to align project objectives
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies across project phases
Support procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
8+ years of experience in substation design and engineering projects
Strong knowledge of electrical substations, equipment, and Protection & Control systems
Proven experience leading teams and managing engineering projects
Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, PrimTECH, or PLS-CADD
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Experience working with utilities or EPC companies
Background in medium and high-voltage substation projects
