Physician Assistant –Compensation $77.26 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment 401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service (on eligibility dates) Physician Assistant –Highlights On-site, patient-facing role (San Antonio, TX area) Schedule includes hours , including every other weekend (possible holiday rotations) Physician Assistant –Responsibilities Provide primary and family evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning Support daily clinic operations, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, maintaining a clean environment, and patient follow-up Verify insurance, collect payments as needed, and support patient appointment flow Perform routine examinations and diagnostic testing to support diagnosis and treatment of injuries/illnesses Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain comprehensive care plans Encourage patient engagement through health screenings, wellness services, behavioral health support, and chronic condition management Physician Assistant –Requirements High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current National Board Certification and an active, unrestricted PA license in the state of employment (in good standing) Current BLS certification (ARC or AHA) Ability to work independently/autonomously, prioritize, problem-solve, and communicate effectively (verbal/written/electronic) Comfort using electronic medical systems (EMS/EHR) DEA registration will be required during onboarding (unless otherwise noted) Physician Assistant –Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of recent Primary Care experience as a Physician Assistant in family medicine or primary care (preferred) Experience with quality measures and chronic condition management Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure (if needed) If you think this Physician Assistant –position is a good fit for you, please apply to this posting!
